We make Protechwood eco-friendly composite material from an innovative blend of 95% recycled wood and plastic—that’s almost the whole thing. All of us want to look out on our decks and know that we’ve done our part.

Recycling is a beautiful think

As one of the largest plastic recyclers in China,very month we save over 1000 tons of plastic from being buried in our landfills forever. Since we control the entire recycling process, including the proper washing, sorting and screening for impurities, we know exactly what material is going into our products. Total vertical integration of our manufacturing process allows us total control, for consistent quality, and color. It also allows us to manage our material costs for stable pricing, and dependable product availability.

Raw material

Oak wood fiber is used instead of bamboo sawdust found in other composite. The wood fibers are encapsulated with recycle HDPE.

Recycle material

Using recycled materials can often result in consistent quality. Protechwood controls the entire value chain from the reclamation process to the delivery of the end product to achieve stable consistent finished products. Recycled material saves energy, reduces green house gases, created jobs and lowers cost through out the life cycle of the products.

Encapsulation process

Prior to the encapsulation, the wood is heated to just below flash point. This process gases the tannin and light-eliminating oils in the wood and allowing a better bond with the plastic in the encapsulation process,
